Hiking
- Anse Major Trail: The starting point of the Anse Major Trail is conveniently located near our villa. To begin the hike, you can follow the coastal road from Vallonend Beachfront Villa towards the Danzil area, where the trailhead is located. Starting from Danzil, this trail takes you through lush forests and granite boulders, leading to the stunning Anse Major beach. The hike offers beautiful coastal views and is known for its rich biodiversity.
- Morne Seychellois National Park: This is the largest national park in Seychelles and offers several trails for hikers of all levels. Some popular trails within the park include the Copolia Trail, Morne Blanc Trail, and Trois Freres Trail.
- Glacis La Reserve: Located on the northern coast of Mahe, this trail takes you through a nature reserve with dense forest, offering breathtaking views of the coastline. It is a moderate-level hike and provides opportunities for birdwatching.
- Mission Lodge Lookout Trail: This trail starts near the Mission Lodge and takes you to a panoramic viewpoint that offers stunning vistas of Mahe's west coast. Along the way, you'll pass through tea plantations and remnants of the island's colonial history.
- Trois Freres Trail: This challenging hike within the Morne Seychellois National Park leads you to the summit of Trois Freres, the highest peak on Mahe Island. The trail offers rewarding views of the surrounding islands and the lush interior of Mahe.
- Port Launay Coastal Trail: Starting from Port Launay, this coastal trail takes you along the western coastline of Mahe, offering magnificent views of the turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. It is a relatively easy hike suitable for all fitness levels.
